We grow our own garlic but if we do not have enough then we add local, certified organic garlic from other local farmers in our area. Then, we go through a painstaking process of crushing, dehydrating and grinding the individual cloves before blending it with pure Himalayan pink salt. However, we've added a few twists with our smoked version. As the name suggests, we smoke the salt in small batches to give it it's trademark smokiness. Omstead Smoked Garlic Salt adds nice flavour to chillis, stews, meat rubs. Oh, and it's divine on garlic toast and popcorn!
